YMCA housing charity trialed the TIME:O:STAT CLASSIC HMO Thermostat in 4 of their properties over 18 months. The YMCA offer temporary supported accommodation where the gas and electricity costs are covered by the charity. The accommodation used for the trial were 2 bed properties, with either 2 or 3 residents. Conditions for the test were particularly challenging, as residents were often in all day as many did not attend college, university or have work commitments. Feedback from the charity was overwhelmingly positive due to savings of 46% on the total gas bill and residents liked the easy to use heating controls.
